1. Introduction

Welcome to DigitalSchmiede, a provider of software development for businesses. These terms set out the rules for the use of our services, digital products, and physical goods.

2. Services

DigitalSchmiede offers custom software development services tailored to the needs of corporate clients. Service engagements begin upon payment and confirmation of project scope.

3. Digital Products

We offer digital resources such as templates, guides, and training materials. Access is granted after payment and no physical delivery is made.

4. Physical Goods

Our online store may include hardware or branded items. Goods are shipped following order confirmation.

5. Fees and Refund Policy

5.1 Fees

Fees are due in full before work commences or before digital access is granted or goods are dispatched.

5.2 Service Refunds

Clients may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if no work has begun. To request a refund or to reschedule services, please complete our contact form. If work on custom code or consulting has started or if milestones have been delivered, fees are non-refundable.

5.3 Digital Product Refunds

Digital products are non-refundable once access credentials or download links have been provided, due to the immediate nature of delivery.

5.4 Physical Goods Refunds

Physical goods may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned goods, using the original method of payment or a store credit, at the client’s choice.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials created by DigitalSchmiede remain our intellectual property unless a written transfer is agreed. Clients receive a license to use deliverables within their organization.

7. Limitation of Liability

DigitalSchmiede will not be liable for any indirect losses. Our maximum total liability under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service or product.
